Do you still use this setup? In the interview at the Omni Parker hotel it sounded like you each had a mic. What was the configuration there? When passing the mic back and forth, do you control it, or allow your guest to hold it?

The Omni Parker House interview was done with the iRiver and one mic, as listed above. I just held the recorder and mic in my hand and moved it back and forth as we talked.
I would never let a guest hold the mic – he who controls the microphone controls the interview. I can end an answer quite easily by taking the mic away from a guest’s mouth, and I wouldn’t want to give that power to anyone but myself!
